WW1 Centenary

All across Europe, events, research projects and commemorative ceremonies will be taking place during the four years of 2014 to 2018, marking the 100th anniversary of the First World War. Eden Boys’ Birmingham fully appreciate the importance of these events, and the part in history that WW1 played in shaping British, and World, society. The school will be contributing throughout the period, to the commemorations and enrichment activities that will be taking place. This page is intended to offer information and links to events, websites and projects which are making special arrangements to mark the centenary. The commemorations outline will give you a flavour for the type of events taking place. As events take place photographs and reports will be added to create an archive of Eden Boys’ Birmingham contribution to the commemorations.

Please feel free to contact the school if you would like further information about any of our proposed events and activities.
