Cashless School

We are pleased to announce that Eden Boys’ School is installing a new cashless catering system which will help us to improve the efficiency and quality of our school meals.

The system works alongside ParentPay which offers you the freedom to make payments online, whenever and wherever you like, safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available.

In order to use ParentPay, we have provided you with a username and password, which had been sent in a sealed envelope with your child. All payments made using ParentPay are automatically sent to the cashless tills. At the end of the meal service, details of the meal transactions and balances will be sent back to ParentPay. The system will mean that as a parent/carer, you will not only be able to view full payment histories and statements at any time, but also view your son’s meal choices for the day.

We will start operating the cashless system from Monday 16th of January 2017. From this day onwards, no cash will be accepted at till points. All students and staff will be issued with their own unique card and will be given training on how to use the system. If students lose their card, a replacement card will cost £5.

A daily spend limit of £5 is programmed into the system, this can be increased or decreased for an individual student by making a written request to the school finance office.
